ADVANCED CLINICAL MASSAGE: SPEEDY AND EFFECTIVE PAIN RELIEF
Clinical massage, also known as medical massage, is all about helping people find relief from aches and pain, treat muscle injuries and soft tissue pain.
Clinical massage therapy works with physical listening touch to heal injuries, treat chronic pain conditions and restore movement and mobility. A clinical massage treatment usually consists of the application of different techniques including myofascial and soft tissue release, deep tissue massage, acupressure, trigger point therapy (neuromuscular technique) and advanced stretching. It aims at helping you recuperating, regenerating and relaxing to live a fuller, pain free life.
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE (MFR)
A specialised physical and manual therapy, Myofascial Release is used for the effective treatment and rehabilitation of soft tissue and fascial aches, pains, tension and restrictions.
Fascia is the connective tissue in and around all our muscles and organs. Like any other body tissues it can be damaged by stress, injury, overuse and other trauma. Myofascial release is, therefore, an application used to ease tension, restrictions and adhesions in the myofascia in order to restore balance and function in our bodies.
IS IT FOR ME?
Everyone can benefit from Clinical Massage. Our bodies work very hard every day and looking after them will help to enjoy doing the things we love for longer.
Working with a trained intuitive therapist who takes a holistic approach to their work is one of the most rewarding investments in your body and health. While a clinical massage treatment will focus on a specific problem the therapist still treats the whole person and one outcome should always be an increased sense of wellbeing and relaxation.
